The current Community Council members all stood down after their four year term and as no one put there names forward , we now have no council
What have they achieved
1 Renewal and replacement of passing place signs
2. Erection of Police notice on single track ettequet 
3. Delivery of skips and notification
4. Organization of beach clean and extra skip.
5. Repacement of blocked drains and culverts
6. Road surface repairs in various tonships
7  Obtaining funding for a village officer.
8. Creation of a turning places at the end of Holmisdale
9. Picnic tables and benches at Community woodland
10. Replenished notice boards in Skinidin and Lephin
11 Erection of notice board at Borreraig
12. Repair of cattle grids on Ramasaig road and Waterstein
13. Creation of Community afternoons
14. New township signs
15. Improvements of hardstanding above Neist Point and increased parking

Still to do
Bridge repairs between Glasphein and Fasach (now done)
Repairs to road to prevent flooding on the Pooltiel shore road (now done)
Footpath from Post Office to village hall.
Protection from fast moving traffic at the playground

The outgoing Community Council has arranged that will be provided on a similar rota for
2011 . Thus ensuring a service even if no Community Council exists.
